Family Leadership Academy is more than just a place to take classes—it's a thriving, Christ-centered community where families grow together in faith, learning, leadership, and love. We are intentional about preserving our culture of unity, reverence, and inspired education.

How to Apply

As space allows, we welcome new families who are committed to living gospel-centered lives and who feel aligned with our mission, vision, and values.

Note: FLA often has more interested families than available spaces. Our interest list is not a waitlist; admissions are prayerfully made based on demographics and the needs of the community each year.

Here’s how to apply:

  1. Read through our Bylaws and Policies & Procedures
     These documents outline our values, standards, and commitments. Please review them prayerfully and ensure FLA is a good fit for your family.

  2. Complete the Interest Form (see below)
     This form helps us get to know your family and why you're interested in joining FLA.

  3. Attend an Interest Interview
     If space is available, a member of the Board (typically the President) will schedule an interview to learn more about your goals and answer your questions.

  4. Board Review & Invitation
     After your interview, the Board will prayerfully consider your application and determine whether to extend an invitation to join.

  5. Complete Registration & Agreements
     Upon approval, you'll receive a registration packet to finalize your membership, pay applicable fees, and be added to our community calendar and chats.


Member Requirements

To keep FLA strong and spiritually vibrant, we ask all members to be “All In.” Every family who joins FLA commits to:
  • Be Present: FLA meets one day per week, 10 weeks per semester. Attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Mentor a Class: Each family provides at least one adult mentor per semester. Mentors teach or assist in classes, bringing their talents and inspiration.
  • Serve on a Committee: From field trips to performing arts to mama retreats, committees help carry the magic of FLA. Every family serves.
  • Pay Required Fees: These include a yearly membership fee, semester registration fee, and modest class material fees (usually $10–$35 per class).
  • Follow Standards of Moral Conduct: FLA is built on Christlike values: reverence, modesty, clean language, inclusion, and service.
  • Wear the FLA Shirt: All members age 3+ wear an official FLA t-shirt to foster unity and simplify dress code expectations.
  • Clean & Contribute: Every family helps clean our facility weekly and treats the building and each other with respect and stewardship.
